They are really cool had to keep clean for some reason. I don’t think they are worth $100 just depends on how much you use them though. they do help though I could never keep my contacts in because my eyes would start to hurt but with these glasses They don’t bother me any more. does sharpen color biggest changes obviously is when playing games. Over all they do help.
Very comfortable and perform exactly as the description indicated. I noticed less eye strain in the first week. It took a couple of days to adjust to them, but after that they were great.
I work 12 hour shifts and these glasses drastically reduce the eye strain I feel after these long days. I highly recommend Gunnar glasses for anyone who spends long periods of time in front of a computer or TV screen.
It was a good experience trying these Gunnar Optiks. When I use it for a long time, and take them off afterward, i feel relaxed and no more strain like I always get after working hours. However, sometimes it may cause slight headache at first, but in general I like it, it works and i will continue using it.

I picked up a pair this morning and decided to give it till the end of the day. I spend at least 8 to 12 hours in front of lcd computer screens (dual monitor setup for my gaming rig, and 2 different laptops for work / play). I’ve decided to return them based on their lack of effectiveness. Let me explain my reasons:
1: I did NOT see any improvement in clarity or sharpness on ANY device (iphone / lcd / etc). This goes for devices just a couple of feet or 3 from my eyes or across the room.
2: Instead of the improved clarity that is advertised, I actually noticed a degradation in sharpness. I had my girlfriend try them out without giving any opinion and she noticed the same effect.
3: The yellow tint changes the color of the very screens I want to see the perfect color from. When I’m driving, its fine but seeing a greenish background instead of the blue its supposed to be (yellow + blue = green) just lowers the value of the product for its advertised use. This COULD be offset if Gunnar would provide a color calibration profile for the main operating systems (Windows 7, OSX, etc) to offset this disparity
4: The anti-glare effects are noticeable.
5: I think these make GREAT driving glasses. I didn’t feel the need to grab my sunglasses and didn’t want to take off these Gunnar’s.
That said, pick up a pair and give them a try. You may find they are perfect for you. For me, I think they are overpriced. I’ve experienced similiar results from a $10.00 pair of cheap driving glasses.
